WebFeb 4, 2014 · My husband and I enjoyed the day trip to Lady Elliot Island! We flew from Hervey Bay, and the 30 minutes-ish fly was fantastic (landing was a bit rough though). The buffet lunch was beautiful, especially I loved fresh prawns and beef curry. The view from the restaurant was magnificent. We also enjoyed hanging out at the reception.
