WebThe respective approaches to contestation developed by Kurki, Richmond, Wiener, and Acharya are assessed in four consecutive sections. Then, we compare the four approaches, discuss differences and commonalities, and contrast them with perspectives on critique, opposition, and resistance in IR and democratic theory more generally.
